Intercavitary Noncompressible Diagnostic Imagine & Application (INDIA)
The purpose of this project is to establish high-fidelity, real-time imaging of FOAM and XSTAT 30 non-compressible torso hemorrhage (NCTH) control technologies via 4D CT and CT-Angiography. Through 4D CT and imaging reconstruction we can better understand the intra-cavitary dynamics of FOAM/XSTAT 30 during the exponential expansion phase, its interaction with intracavitary organs/spaces and real-time impact on hemorrhage. In addition, CT-angiography will allow for high-fidelity understanding of FOAM/XSTAT 30 impact on discrete and regional vasculature in the abdomen.
